The 2024 Rice Business Plan Competition was held last month in Houston. Our team member, Adarsh Sowcar, represented our team as a judge.

The competition offers an educational program for participants to gain real-world experience, engage with judges and sponsors, and boost investor exposure through interactive programs.

There is a notable increased presence of startups in the climatetech and hard tech tracks, showcasing robust IP-based technological innovations with tangible industry impact.

In addition to prizes, the student startups obtain valuable access and experience from both early-stage and later-stage investors.
