2024: Another year of innovation and collaboration for NOVA by Saint-Gobain 

As we look back on 2024, we are proud to share some of the key milestones that made this year impactful for NOVA by Saint-Gobain. Through meaningful partnerships, innovative investments, and global collaboration, we continued to support our mission of “Making the World a Better Home.” 

2024 Key Highlights 

Driving innovation through strategic investments 
This year, we expanded our portfolio by welcoming Renovate Robotics, Fortera, TimberHP, and PLANTICS B.V.—startups aligned with our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Additionally, we continued supporting our existing partners by closing follow-on financing rounds with JUUNOO, Hyperframe, FibreCoat, Volumetric Building Companies, Treble Technologies , ECODROP, Ion Storage Systems, Okibo, and ISYBOT. 

Showcasing and accelerating innovation globally 
The Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge organized by Enterprise Singapore kicked off with Saint-Gobain Singapore & Malaysia joining other industry players and innovators looking for startups making a meaningful impact on our planet. 

Greentown Labs Go Build Accelerator: We celebrated the accomplishments of six innovative startups, including Active Surfaces, Carbon Upcycling Technologies, Endeavor Composites, Inc., Hempitecture, Puro Renewables, Inc. and ZS2 Technologies in their journey to develop solutions that promote circularity and sustainability. 

ChangeNOW 2024: Alongside our portfolio companies Fortera, Tri'n'Collect, and Volumetric Building Companies, we joined changemakers to highlight impactful innovations tackling the world’s biggest challenges. Saint-Gobain CEO Benoit Bazin delivered a keynote on sustainable industrialization, and our VP of External Ventures Basma Kharrat led a pitch session.

Supporting startups through competitions 
Construction Startup Competition 2024: We proudly supported this leading platform for construction and cleantech startups. Congratulations to the winners: Sodex Innovations, Raise Robotics, and Trunk Tools and many thanks to partners Caterpillar Inc., Dysruptek, Ferrovial, Hilti Group, Leonard, Trimble Inc. and Zacua Ventures for a successful program! 

BuiltWorlds Paris Summit: At the Saint-Gobain Tower, we hosted a networking session with partners such as Bouygues Construction, VINCI Leonard, Nesma, Hilti Group or Trimble Inc.. We are delighted to work alongside other industry leaders in accelerating the deployment of innovation across the built environment sector. 

Engaging in global conversations 
At Slush 2024 in Helsinki, Finland, we co-hosted a side event with OSS Ventures, Kiilto Ventures, and Greencode Ventures, fostering discussions on innovation and the future of sustainability. 

During the UrbanLab Innovation Summit in Shenzhen, China, we explored AI's role in shaping the cities of tomorrow and participated in the "Startup Roadshow" to uncover cutting-edge solutions. 

Celebrating teamwork and collaboration 
In 2024, our global team gathered in France, connecting colleagues from China, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, and the USA. Together, we focused on optimizing investments and partnerships to drive shared success for our startups and business units. 

We also welcomed new team members, Chloé Khalifat-Calbet and Mikayel Arzakantsyan to our European team, and Naval Preet Singh to our North American team!
